ingredients:
- 1 bowl of pop rice (cooked, dried and toasted rice)
- 1 cup of pecan nut (half crushed)
- 1 cup of green pumpkin seed
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seed
- 1/2 cup of dried raisin
- 1/2 cup of dried apricot (diced)
- 1/4 block of buttercup
- 1 1/2 cups of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
how to make:
1. mix the pop rice, pecan nut, pumpkin seed, sesame seed, raisin and apricot into a big bowl
2. melt the butter into a hot pan (small flame)
3. put the cinnamon powder into the pan followed by the honey
4. stir the ingredients until they mix well (not too long)
5. pour the caramel ingredients into the mixed grain
6. mixed well
7. place the mixture into a baking tray
8. press the mixture using oily spoon to make it packed
9. leave the mixture to harden
10. cut the harden mixture into bar
notes: you can add oats or other grains if you like. if you want it to be more crispy, you can bake it in the oven with low temperature (approx. 60 deg C for 5 mins). it is good when serve with milk and apple wedges
